You may send a request for an inquiry to the Association des courtiers et agents immobiliers du Québec regarding the professional conduct of one of its members. If based of the information we receive from you, the Office of the Syndic has reason to believe that the membre has violated the provisions of the Real Estate Brokerage Act and its regulations, an investigation will be made and, if warranted, a complaint will be filed with the discipline committee. The penalties can be applied in the form of a fine, a suspension or a revocation of the member's certificate but that under no circumstances would they include damages, as this recourse falls within the jurisdiction of the civil courts.
