Agreement with the Association des thermographes en inspection de bâtiment
An additional tool for professional references
The OACIQ is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with the Association des thermographes en inspection de bâtiment (ATIB). Founded in 2012, this non-profit organization includes building inspectors and thermographers wishing to provide recognized quality services in building inspection and thermography.
With this agreement, you will have access to a list of thermographers who meet several requirements according to ATIB, including those of:
- holding a professional liability insurance;
- respecting a recognized inspection service agreement;
- following building inspection practice standards;
- submitting a written report to the party using their services.
The ATIB's members are also required to respect a Code of Ethics and must take at least five hours of continuing education per year.
Find an inspector by consulting the members’ list on the ATIB’s website.
Agreements profitable for your clients
The OACIQ is constantly working to improve your work tools to assist you in providing your services to your clients.
When recommending building inspectors from the list of the ATIB, AIBQ or APCHQ you may assume that your clients benefit from the services of an inspector who meets the requirements of section 81 of the Regulation respecting brokerage requirements, professional conduct of brokers and advertising.
