Licence Renewal
The OACIQ licence renewal period is underway.
To maintain your real estate brokerage licence for the period extending from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, you must by Wednesday, April 30, 2025:
- Carry out your mandatory information update
- Pay the annual licence renewal fees via the (you may make your payment only after completing your information update)
- Pay your subscription to InstanetFormsTM electronic forms. If you carry out residential real estate transactions, you must subscribe to InstanetFormsTM electronic forms to access current versions of brokerage forms
- Complete your 2023-2025 Mandatory Continuing Education Program (MCEP) by taking the mandatory training courses of the OACIQ and elective courses to earn the required continuing education units (CEUs) before the end of the cycle. Check the Professional Development Portal to see the number of CEUs earned to date.

NOTE: We recommend that you renew your licence as soon as possible to be able to get help if needed, and to avoid last-minute traffic on our systems.
The total cost for renewing your licence, including the InstanetFormsTM electronic forms subscription, FICI contribution and FARCIQ insurance premium is $ 2,009.93 (taxes included).
ATTENTION
ATTENTION: Payment by credit card via the Online Checkout is the preferred method. However, payments by cheque or electronic transfer through your financial institution are also possible, as long as they are received by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Also, you will need to proceed sufficiently in advance to meet the deadlines for receiving and processing the payment. These timelines can vary between 24 hours and 3 business days, depending on your financial institution. Please note that it is no longer possible to pay in person at our head office.
You will find the details of fees in your Notice in the Receipts and invoices section on Brokers’ Area. In the days following your online payment, your receipt will be deposited at the same place.
Avoid consequences

If you fail to do so within the specified period, your licence will be suspended or revoked depending on the situation. This means that you will have to stop engaging in any brokerage activities after April 30.
