NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON CHARLES LAFOREST’S LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Charles Laforest, full-service real estate broker (licence C9227), whose establishment is located in St-Jérôme, has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (3) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.

On October 30, 2024, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Mr. Laforest’s licence:
 

  1. Within 3 months of notification of this decision, he must complete the training course entitled “Gérer son stress dans la transaction immobilière (À travers soi),” accredited by the OACIQ Training Department.
 
  1. The licensee shall be prohibited from carrying on real estate brokerage activities on his own account, until the Syndic’s decision not to file a complaint or until the final and binding decision of the Discipline Committee on the complaint filed by the Syndic.

Should Mr. Laforest fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his right to engage in professional real estate brokerage activities shall be suspended until he does so.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting broker’s and agency licences.

The decision became enforceable on December 10th, 2024.
