NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON TONY KHOURY’S LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Tony Khoury, full-service real estate broker (licence D5085), whose establishment is located in Montreal, has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (2) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
On January 30, 2025, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Tony Khoury’s licence:
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting broker’s and
agency licences.
The decision became enforceable on February 19, 2025.

Notice is hereby given that Tony Khoury, full-service real estate broker (licence D5085), whose establishment is located in Montreal, has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 38 (2) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.
On January 30, 2025, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Tony Khoury’s licence:
- From the notification of this decision until 60 months following his absolute discharge from bankruptcy, the licensee shall be prohibited from carrying on real estate brokerage activities on his own account.
- From the notification of this decision until 60 months following his absolute discharge from bankruptcy, the licensee shall be prohibited from carrying on real estate brokerage activities within a business corporation.
- The licensee shall send the Organization’s Registry Service a copy of his provincial and federal notices of assessment and proof of filing of his GST/QST returns, as well as proof of payment of the above-mentioned amounts for the years 2022 and 2023 within 30 days of notification of this decision.
- The licensee shall send the Organization’s Registry Service a copy of his federal and provincial notices of assessment and proof of filing of his GST/QST return, as well as proof of payment of the above-mentioned amounts for 2024 no later than April 30, 2025.
- Within 30 days following notification of this decision, the licensee shall send the OACIQ Registry Service proof that he has changed his GST/QST reporting method from annual to quarterly.
- From the notification of this decision until 60 months following his absolute discharge from bankruptcy, the licensee shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which he carries on his real estate brokerage activities to the effect that the latter retains the GST and QST payable to him until he is required to remit them upon transmission of his tax return to be kept in the agency's file. The agency undertakes to notify the Organization’s Registry Service if the licensee fails to submit the GST/QST return within 15 days of the due date.
- As of the notification of this decision until 60 months following his absolute discharge from bankruptcy, the licensee shall enter into and maintain a written agreement with the agency within which he carries on his real estate brokerage activities to the effect that the latter retains 20% of his remuneration for the purpose of paying his taxes, until such time as he is required to remit it upon transmission of a copy of his notices of assessment, or for the purpose of making instalment payments. The agency undertakes to notify the Organization’s Registry Service if the licensee fails to submit his notices of assessment within 30 days of the due date.
- A copy of the agreement mentioned in paragraphs (f) and (g) shall be sent to the OACIQ Registry Service within thirty (30) days of notification of this decision.
- In the event of any agency change during the period referred to in this decision, the licensee shall enter into a new agreement under the same conditions with the new agency and send a copy thereof to the Organization’s Registry Service within 30 days following the agency change.
- Within 5 days of notification of this decision, the licensee shall send the Organization’s Registry Service proof that his credit card has been submitted to the bankruptcy trustee for cancellation.
- Should the licensee not be discharged from his bankruptcy by September 30, 2025, his real estate broker’s licence will be revoked.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting broker’s and
agency licences.
The decision became enforceable on February 19, 2025.
