The Organisme d'autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) would like to warn the public about certain information published on the Ubee platform.  Currently, the information on the immovable properties displayed is not continuously updated. For example, some properties may appear to be for sale when, in fact, they have been sold or are no longer for sale. In addition, some properties have had their listing prices changed.

The OACIQ's sole mission is to protect members of the public who enlist the services of real estate brokerage professionals governed by the Real Estate Brokerage Act. This is why the OACIQ has asked Ubee to take steps to avoid public confusion about the accuracy of the information published and to enable real estate brokers to meet their professional obligations.

Consumers are advised to verify information with the platforms on which the properties were originally listed.

The OACIQ thus implements the protections provided by the Real Estate Brokerage Act when a real estate broker is involved in a transaction.
