Brossard, February 19, 2025 — Internet users will find a wide range of updated contents, an enhanced search engine and the constant presence of Élise, the OACIQ's virtual agent, on the new website of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), which went online today.

The revamping of the website aimed at modernizing the existing platform and meeting the growing needs of consumers, real estate brokers and all those who have a role to play in this sector. By facilitating access to the resources offered by the OACIQ, the new website strengthens the OACIQ’s public protection mission by providing better oversight of brokers’ obligations and a broader understanding of consumer rights. The main features of the website include:

  • Enhanced search functionalities: a substantially improved AI-based search engine helps users quickly find answers to their questions.
  • Optimized user experience (UX): consumers, real estate brokers or real estate brokerage students have access to a section dedicated to them right from the homepage.
  • Easier understanding of real estate brokers' obligations: all the information about the oversight of the activities of real estate brokerage licensees is now even more accessible and simplified.
  • Easier access to resources for brokers: the brokers' extranet becomes the platform to be used to meet their licence maintenance, compliance and continuing education obligations.
  • Adaptive design: the website fits various screen sizes for optimal viewing on desktops, tablets and smartphones.

The launching of our new website marks an important step in our commitment to modernizing and improving the services offered by the OACIQ.” says OACIQ President and CEO Nadine Lindsay. “We have created an intuitive and efficient platform that meets the specific needs of our various clients. We are convinced that this new website will greatly facilitate access to information and further strengthen our public protection mission.
