NOTICE OF SUSPENSION
OF MR. GARY GRANT’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Mr. Gary Grant, former real estate broker (licence no. D8123), whose establishment was located in Kirkland, has notably been found guilty by the Discipline Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) of the offences summarized below:
2nd count: On or about April 20, 2007, concerning an immovable, Defendant:
a) following the request of the buyer’s real estate agent, drafted the "Amendments and notice of fulfilment of conditions" form to increase the sale price of the said immovable and signed as witness on said document
b) transmitted or had the information contained in the said form transmitted to the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board, whereas the Promise to purchase was already accepted;
committing, for each of the above paragraphs, an offence under Section 13 of the Rules of Professional Ethics of the ACAIQ.
On October 22, 2013, the Discipline Committee ordered a suspension of Mr. Gary Grant’s real estate broker’s licence (licence no. D8123) for a period of thirty (30) days on each of counts nos. 2a) and 2b) of the formal complaint, to be served concurrently with each other for a total of thirty (30) days, whenever he becomes a licence holder again.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
