NOTICE OF A LICENCE SUSPENSION

File: 33-16-1918

NOTICE is hereby given that Marcel Paiement, former real estate broker, licence No. C1860, whose establishment was located in Laval, has been found guilty by the OACIQ Discipline Committee of the offence summarized below:

Count 1: As of July 2, 2014, concerning an immovable, as executive officer of Prêtbec Ltée real estate agency, failing to ensure that this agency respects the judgment rendered by the Hon. Denis Lapierre, j.c.q., regarding case number 540-32-026136-133 ordering it to pay the amount of $5,031.60 to sellers.

On May 3, 2017, the Discipline Committee ordered the permanent suspension of Marcel Paiement's licence No. C1860 and prohibited him from applying for a licence with the OACIQ thereafter.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
