Be advised that on november 27, 2024, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the real estate broker’s licence of Ms. Christine Girouard, whose establishment was located in Repentigny, be revoked. The Committee also ordered the permanent suspension of Ms. Girouard's licence should a new licence be issued to her, and prohibited the issuance of any licence category to Ms. Girouard and to an agency in which Ms. Girouard is a majority shareholder and/or a director, for committing the following offences:

Count 2: During 2021 and 2022, set up a scheme to generate a bidding war by putting the following immovables on the market at sale prices below their market value: (a) Immovable 1, (b) Immovable 2, (c) Immovable 4, (d) Immovable 6.

Count 3: In Repentigny, during 2021 and 2022, falsely told real estate brokers of promising buyers that they had to increase the price offered in their clients' promise to purchase or that they had to offer a given price when the amount offered was already the highest among the other promises to purchase received, in the following real estate transactions: (a) Immovable 1, (b) Immovable 3, (c) Immovable 4, (d) Immovable 5, (e) Immovable 6, (f) Immovable 7, (g) Immovable 8, (h) Immovable 9.
