NOTICE is hereby given that Mr. Leon Kordzian, chartered real estate broker (certificate No. C0259), whose establishment is located at 11765-A Joseph-Casavant St., in Montréal, is charged in a complaint before the Discipline Committee of the Association des courtiers et agents immobiliers du Québec with the offence summarized below:
1st count: Following a decision of the Discipline Committee on May 29, 2008 in file 33-07-1079 concerning him, failing to abide by an order issued by the Discipline Committee of the Association des courtiers et agents immobiliers du Québec enjoining him to provide to an assistant syndic, within a given period of time, the updated “Transaction Register” and “Individual Transaction Register”, the whole contrary to the provisions of sections 1, 13 and 16 of the Rules of Professional Ethics of the ACAIQ.
On November 10, 2008, the Discipline Committee ordered a provisional suspension of Mr. Leon Kordzian’s certificate until the decision of the Discipline Committee is rendered, either rejecting the complaint filed against him or ordering a penalty; unless such a penalty is a suspension or cancellation of his certificate, in which case the provisional suspension order shall remain in force until the decision becomes enforceable.
The decision of the Discipline Committee is enforceable as of the date of notification to the Defendant, i.e. November 13, 2008. The provisional suspension of Mr. Leon Kordzian’s chartered real estate broker’s certificate and provisional limitation of certain activities became effective on November 13, 2008.
This notice is given in accordance with section 137 of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (R.S.Q., c. C-73.1) and section 133 of the Professional Code (R.S.Q., c. C-26).
