NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF
MRS. MARIELLE LAROCHE’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Mrs. Marielle Laroche, former real estate broker (licence No. D6871) whose establishment is located in Quebec, has been found guilty by the Discipline Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du Courtage Immobilier du Québec of the offences summarized below:

1st count: On unknown dates probably between on or around May 7, 2009 and on or around May 20, 2009, concerning an immovable, having sent to a real estate agent two letters confirming the acceptance of the mortgage financing application for the acquisition of this immovable by the buyer, whereas she had not received a written confirmation of the financial institution to this effect, the whole contrary to section 13 of the Rules of Professional Ethics of the ACAIQ.

2nd count: Between on or around May 22, 2009 and on or around May 23, 2009, concerning an immovable, having sent to a real estate agent two letters confirming the acceptance of the mortgage financing application for the acquisition of this immovable by the same agent, whereas she had not received a written confirmation of the financial institution to this effect, the whole contrary to section 13 of the Rules of Professional Ethics of the ACAIQ.

On September 16, 2011, the Discipline Committee ordered a suspension of Mrs. Marielle Laroche’s real estate broker’s licence for a period of sixty (60) days on count No. 1 of the complaint and a consecutive period of sixty (60) days on count No. 2, to be served at the expiration of the appeals deadline if the defendant is the holder of a licence issued by the OACIQ or, if not, whenever she becomes a licence holder again.


Given that Mrs. Marielle Laroche is no longer a licence holder, her licence will be suspended for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days whenever she becomes a licence holder again.

This notice is given in accordance with section 98.1 of the Real Estate Brokerage Act (R.S.Q., c. C-73.2) and section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
