TING SHENG CHAO’S LICENCE (D3503)

Be advised that on March 15, 2022, the Court of Québec confirmed the decision of the Discipline Committee that ordered the suspension of the commercial and residential real estate broker licence of Ms. Ting Sheng Chao, whose establishment was located in Montreal, be suspended for a period of 360 days whenever she becomes a licence holder again, for committing the following offences:

Count 1:  As of April 2018, when selling "her chalet", failed to reimburse the sum of $3,000 obtained from the promisor-buyer as a deposit, even though the said sale could not be completed.

Count 3: As part of an investigation conducted by the assistant syndic:

• During May and June 2019, falsely stated that the promisor-buyer had changed his mind almost a month after their agreement and no longer wanted to buy "her chalet";
• On or around June 6, 2019, hindered the assistant syndic’s investigation by sending him a forged document she had prepared to lead him to believe that if the promisor-buyer withdrew from the purchase of "her chalet ", his deposit would not be refunded.
