NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF BRIGITTE LE PAILLEUR’S LICENCE (A8216)

Be advised that on October 30, 2023, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the commercial and residential real estate broker licence of Ms. Brigitte Le Pailleur, whose establishment was located in Montreal, be suspended for a period of 180 days whenever she becomes a licence holder again for committing the following offences:

Count 1: Concerning an immovable located in Montreal, while she was in charge of putting the said immovable up for sale following the conclusion of a brokerage contract:
  1. As of or about October 24, 2018, failed to immediately list the said immovable on the information listing services provided for in clause 6.1 of said brokerage contract;
  2. On or about October 30, 2018, while she was seeking to purchase the said immovable via her business corporation, negotiated the terms and conditions of purchase of said immovable directly with the seller;
  3. On or about November 1, 2018, did not objectively advise or inform the seller about the possibility of seeking representation by a real estate broker of his choice and the waiver of his right to use an information listing service.
