Advising, overseeing and supervising are key roles
As agency executive officer, you are an experienced broker who serves as a model and a reference for both brokers and staff. Indeed, as set out in the Real Estate Brokerage Act (REBA) and its regulations, the agency executive officer:
- manages the agency and monitor its operation in a way that allows it to fulfil its real estate obligations and responsibilities;
- supervises the professional activities of the agency’s brokers and administrative personnel;
- advises and assists brokers in order to foster their professional development;
- collaborates and ensures broker collaboration with the various partners, the OACIQ and the official bodies in charge of public protection;
- implements a compliance procedure, especially for record documentation.
